Space for Nurturing Creativity (SNC) is a residential learning center in the Kedarnath Valley of Uttarakhand, founded in 2009 and later officially registered as a Society in April 2011. We are a multigenerational community of 35-40 people, coming from various rural places throughout not only Uttarakhand, but also Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Rajasthan. Our intentional community thrives on the mission of fostering future generations of mindful, sensitive and creative individuals, able to live harmoniously and self-sustainably in collaboration with each other, as well as with nature.

We have watched children grow up here having developed extreme levels of confidence, sensitivity and compassion both for the environment and others around them. While we have also seen them grow up to become adults with out the typical biases (gender, class, caste, color, etc,) commonly found in dominant culture.

According to our current budget it costs approximately 3000rs per month per child to live and learn at Space for Nurturing Creativity. This includes both basic housing costs such as electricity, gas, water, food ration, as well as children’s clothes, books, and other study materials.Your generous support can provide quality holistic education, that nurtures not just the creativity of these children, but also the development of their mental-emotional intelligence, spirituality, academic progress, and self-sustainablity skills-sets according to their interests.

We would be happy to have you join us in this endeavor, by becoming a regular sponsor.

With a minimum commitment of one year support, 3000rs per month, sponsors are welcome to make this contribution each month, several times a year, or a one-time yearly contribution, as per your convenience. We can provide an 80G, 10BE certificate, or CSR number if you such require.

The vision of this place calls for the awakening of the wisdom that comes with compassion and love.
